    To Collect Your Vehicle:

    Please bring along your original ID or passport and household with you.

    Driving License

    Whether you’re hiring a car or van, you just need a valid driving licence that covers the vehicle you’re hiring. You must have held your driving licence for at least one year.
    The Myanmar or ASEAN driving licence is required for the drivers who are residents or entered into Myanmar with non-tourist visa. For tourists, your home country driving license and international permit are required.

    Please remember to bring your original driving licence with you when you collect your vehicle.

    Refundable Deposit

    All bookings are required a refundable deposit of USD 500 for each rental vehicle upon the collection. You can provide this either with credit card (VISA & MasterCard) or cash. We will not charge your credit card but pre-authorize the amount only. The refund process will be done on the day you return the vehicle(s). While generally the refund process is completed within a few business days, please be noted that the bank may take up to 14 days to release the pre-authorized amount to your credit card.

    Managing your booking

    If you wish to modify or cancel your booking you can do it by using the same booking channel as the one used for your reservation or by contacting our local Call Center at +95 (0) 9977 875 099 or bookings@avismyanmar.com

    Cancellation fee

    Modifications to your booking without changing the date are free of charge up to the time of pick-up (though new rental prices may apply and subject to the availabilities of the vehicle).

    Cancellation fee is 10% (bank processing fee) of the rental charge for the cancellation at least 72 hours prior to the rental day (GMT +6.30, Yangon time). You may cancel by using the same booking channel as the one used for your reservation or by contacting our local Call Center.

    If you fail to collect the vehicle in due time and have not cancelled the reservation by the time specified above, a full rental charge will be charged. If you lodged your credit card details to guarantee your booking then you agree that we may charge a rental charge against that credit card if you have not cancelled your booking and fail to collect the vehicle on the day of pick-up.

    If you return the vehicle to us before the end of the agreed rental period then you will not be entitled to a refund for any unused days.
